Hi, my name is Stefi, welcome to Polercisetenerife.com. I was born in Leeds, England but have lived in Tenerife for 17 years now! I have been dancing all styles of dance for about 10 years, Ballet, Salsa, different hiphop and jazz styles, but Pole Dancing really caught my attention a few years ago so I decided to train as a pole dancing instructor to full health and fitness standards in the UK. I love to dance and teaching people new things is such a good feeling.

Pole dancing was originally thought of as taboo, something only strippers and 'naughty' people did or watched, but as the years progressed it became recognized as a dance skill in its own right and noticed for its body toning and muscle building abilities. It is now very big in America, Australia and the UK and it's nothing to be ashamed of!

There are now annual Pole dancing competitions held all over the world. I saw there was an opening for something different on our little island in the sun and so I started teaching a few of my friends and it grew from there. Polercise Tenerife was born!
